The Ghosts have been around almost as long as the house's over 800 years, most are friendly, some are inexplicable, with the most recent phenomenon experienced very recently.

Sausmarez Manor features many times in the book "Stately Ghosts" and where nearly all the hauntings are described in detail.

The tour, usually taken by the Seigneur himself, not only covers the various ghost and hauntings, but also touches on the history of the House and the Island.

Ghost Tour Availability

By Appointment

Usually taking place in the evening, groups are between 6 & 20 people with free glass of wine or fruit juice included.

Join a group or bring some friends or work colleagues on a Thursday or Friday (depending on the time of year). Dont worry if there is only one or two of you; it is worth ringing, as we will almost certainly be able to make up numbers.
